I have read and listened to all kinds of books on topics regarding spirituality, religion, the mind, power of believe, self improvement, etc. and this is by far the most complete and effective explanation of its kind. It really is where its at, right to the point. It also gives you stages on how to go about doing what it takes to bring what we really want into our lives.
5 Stars Life Changting Messages Too Important to Pass Up
I love the messages on the Law of Attraction and Ask and it is Given CDs. I was raised with the image of God with this big bat He would use every time we screw up. This did not line up to how I felt inside. The message in these CDs paint a different picture of God, Universe, Source, Higher Being.
Abraham/Ester Hicks declares that we are part of this Great Creator and not separate. Joy is what God wants for us. And His focus is not punishment but Love. Feeling good lets us know we are on the right path. And God, Universe, Source, Higher Being wants us to have want we want. And specific instructions are included to help us manifest what we are wanting.
The narration by Ester Hicks/Abraham (The Law of Attraction) is vastly superior to the Jerry Hicks (Ask and It Is Given) narration. There is so much more energy in Ester’s delivery. I listen to Jerry because I believe in the message, but his voice is a monotone that is hard to digest. (No offense Mr. Hicks but it’s the truth as I hear it) I have to make myself pay attention to the words. I love the work they are doing but Jerry’s narration spoils the pleasue of listening for me. I personally would prefer all of this precious work in the voice of Ester Hicks/Abraham.
In spite of Jerry’s narration these CDs are too important to pass up. They helped me to see myself as more a part of the Universe and provided helpful tools to help me become more of the person I want to be.
It’s worth the money. Buy it.

I paid $26 to listen to Jerry Hicks speedread another Abraham book. I like to savor the material, reflect on it’s meaning but he’s in such a hurry that he really isn’t into the material at all.I had to turn it off after 2 chapters. When Esther speaks it’s the opposite. Jerry needs to get out of the way!

I thought I was pretty good at breathing; after all I’ve made it to 60 years old quite well with what I knew 
but this opens up a completely different way of approaching the subject and one I have really enjoyed.
I have just started on my learning journey, but I am enjoying it immensely.
I do have to agree with one of the other reviewers though, once you have heard the lecture on the first CD, you really don’t have to ever listen to it again.

1 Star Waste of Money
I paid $25 for this in a retail store, and I regret it. I was looking for a CD that would take me through guided breathing exercises, the way some CDs take you through a guided meditation. I have asthma, and I’m pregnant, and I wanted to focus on better breathing. I’m still not sure if this CD has guided breathing exercises or not, maybe it does. Everytime I listen, I fall asleep before I hear him get to any part like that. Everything I’ve heard sounds like I’m back in a (boring) college lecture. Even if there are breathing exercises you can do along with the CD, I wouldn’t be able to skip forward to them since this CD is a one-track deal.
5 Stars Simple and Effective
Focusing on your breath is the easiest thing in the world and the hardest thing in the world. Weil offers a good introduction to the notion of breath and then gently leads the listener through his exercises. With practice, I have become a different person.
For those of us who face stressful situations everyday, the tools on this little cd are life changing. Better than an hour of therapy….try it!
3 Stars Breathing
This could probably have been condensed into 1 CD as it seems to go on a long time with description before getting down to the breathing exercise bit. (Although it is very soothing to listen to with all the new age music in the background!) The breathing exercises are very effective and it is certainly easier to follow along with Andrew Weil as he does the exercises than to try to figure it out from a book description.

This CD has that smooth jazz sound. They chose the most uninteresting tracks from good artists and built generic elevator chill out.

I bought this solely because of one track:
Sonhando Ipanema by Barriere. I took a gamble
on the rest of the album and it paid great
dividends big time… except for track 9:
The Essence by Plaza Suite. And what a big
fly in the smooth ointment it is — totally,
utterly boring and snooze-inducing (”Home,
far from home…” zzz…). And because
of that, Chillounge gets 1 star less.
5 Stars As close to perfect as one could get!
I bought this album in February of 2006 being a huge fan of the Intent City label that this album was released on. THIS ALBUM IS MARVELOUS! I mean, seriously, this album is among the best chillout collections I’ve ever heard. Perfect for long walks along the lake front on a warm spring afternoon for loners and introverts, and perfect for romantic nights for extroverts, “Chillounge” is absolutely astounding. The opening track “Anything With You” instantly had me hooked the moment it started playing. Among my favorite songs are “Delicate Poison”, “Expand Your Mind”, “After The Rain”, “Mr. Brown” and “Sunrise Sunset”. I haven’t heard any compilation that has been so wonder like “Chillounge” was and I highly recommend buying this album pronto! Highly recommended!

This CD is great for relaxing, having a cocktail, and entertaining guests. Perfect beats set the mood.
